Why Load Rating Matters on an EV
The load rating shows the maximum weight a tyre is designed to carry.
Because EVs can be considerably heavier than conventional vehicles, some require higher-load tyres. Fitting a tyre with an unsuitable load rating can mean it does not meet the vehicle manufacturer's requirements.
